Opportunities to attend the Symposium on a scholarship

Some of the Indiana Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) have offered to provide a scholarship to healthcare professionals to attend the Symposium. These scholarships only cover the registration fee, not membership fee. If you are an IRHA member your registration fee may be paid in full through the scholarship. If you are not an IRHA member the scholarship will cover $75 of your registration fee, you will be responsible for $50 of your registration fee.

To receive an AHEC scholarship to attend the Symposium you must (1) download and complete the "Form F" and fax it to Laura Carlson at 812-232-8602 and (2) register online (link is above.) If you do not complete and return the "Form F" your scholarship will not be honored and you will be responsible for your registration fee. To download the "Form F"  click on the link next to the participating AHEC. Don't forget to also register online.

Area Health Education Centers offering scholarships:

1. Northwest Area Health Education Center (NW-AHEC).If you are a health professional working in the one of the following Indiana counties: Benton, Carroll, Cass, Clinton, Fulton, Howard, Jasper, Lake, LaPorte, Marshall, Miami, Newton, Porter, Pulaski, St. Joseph, Starke, Tippecanoe, Tipton or White you are eligible for a NW-AHEC scholarship. NW-AHEC Form F
Don't forget to register online too.

2. West Central Area Health Education Center (WC-AHEC). The WC-AHEC is offering a scholarship to only one (1) individual per hospital or RHC. This scholarship will be on a first-come first-serve basis.If you are a health professional working in one of the following Indiana counties: Clay, Fountain, Greene, Montgomery, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Sullivan, Vermillion, Vigo or Warren you are eligible for the first-come first-serve WC-AHEC scholarship. WC-AHEC Form F  Don't forget to register online too.

3. Southwest Area Health Education Center (SW-AHEC). The SW-AHEC is offering a total of four (4) scholarships on a first-come first-serve basis.If you are a health professional working in one of the following Indiana counties: Daviess, Dubois, Gibson, Knox, Perry, Pike, Posey, Spencer, Vanderburgh or Warrick you are eligible for the first-come first-serve SW-AHEC scholarship. SW-AHEC Form F  Don't forget to register online too.

4.  Southeast South Central Area Health Education Center (SE/SCI AHEC).  The SE/SCI AHEC will be providing scholarships to health professionals working in one of the following Indiana counties:  Bartholomew, Brown, Clark, Crawford, Dearborn, Decatur, Fayette, Floyd, Franklin, Harrison, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Lawrence, Martin, Monroe, Ohio, Orange, Ripley, Rush, Scott, Switzerland, Union, and Washington.  SE/SCI AHEC Form F  Don't forget to register online too.
