INFORMATION/DESCRIPTION: Manager, State Office of Rural Health will coordinate and oversee pertinent operational activities associated with the State Office of Rural Health - a division of the Indiana State Department of Health. The Manager will report to the Primary Care Office of the Indiana State Department of Health. The position will be housed under the Indiana Rural Health Association. The qualifications include the following:
1) A degree in informatics, information science, MIS, Statics, or other computer/data related degree program.
2) 2-3 years experience in healthcare environment with knowledge of rural
3) Knowledge of CMS core measures
4) Understanding of clinical measures and terminology
5) Ability to interpret, collect and report data
6) Knowledge of database technologies, SQL, and data mining
7) Strong attention to details and writing skills
8) Statistical package skills: Excel, SPSS, MiniTab, etc.
9) Ability to work independently
