Presented by Ron Emerson, RN, BSN - AMD Global Telemedicine

This session will cover why Telehealth is important to the sustainability of rural healthcare and how it fits in to the current state of our nation's healthcare system. Specific discussion points will be focused on 3 critical factors to success, 1) patient and provider satisfaction; 2) clinical efficacy; and 3) the business case for rural health centers.

At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

• Identify a minimum of three critical factors / proof points to validate a successful telemedicine program.

• Describe two successful clinical delivery models for rural healthcare providers.

• Recognize key data points that will guide them to develop best practice models for their telemedicine programs.
