2025 Indiana State Rural Health Report
The 2025 Indiana State Rural Health Report
This report created by the Indiana Rural Health Association's Data Committee presents a comprehensive analysis of the current state of rural health in Indiana, drawing from statewide and national datasets to assess social determinants of health, healthcare access, chronic disease burden, behavioral health, maternal and infant health, and telehealth infrastructure. Despite these challenges, the report also highlights emerging innovations, such as Mobile Integrated Health programs, and strategic investments, like those made by Health First Indiana. Sustained funding, targeted workforce development, expanded broadband access, and community-driven partnerships are crucial to improving health equity across Indiana’s rural landscape.
