Crossroads Network

Crossroads Network

The Crossroads Partnership for Telehealth will recruit and retain rural healthcare systems, in order to address the mental health and substance use needs of their respected communities. Early results have shown that our tele-behavioral health program has been effective in treating certain conditions across patient populations and can exist as an alternative to in-person care. This, in return, will increase access to behavioral health services throughout rural communities and present new services to mental health provider shortage areas across the state of Indiana. The map below outlines the current mental health shortage areas within each county.

IRHA has also established partnerships with behavioral health provider groups. These groups can work with partner sites and contribute mental health providers to advance behavioral health practices. The goal of these partnerships are to reduce costs for rural healthcare organizations interested in improving current behavioral health services.

By participating in the Crossroads Partnership for Telehealth, each partner site will be granted an annual stipend that will help combat any administrative costs related to the tele-behavioral health program. The program will also prepare, configure and deliver tele-behavioral health equipment to each partner site and train staff members on how to utilize the equipment.
