Healthy Minds, Healthy Lives

The Healthy Minds, Healthy Lives team has developed a program which educates individuals about the following:
- Information about the mental health landscape in Indiana
- Telehealth information with a focus on tele-behavioral health
- Purdue Farm Stress program resources
- Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) training
- Statewide and national resources pertaining to mental health, suicide prevention, telehealth, health insurance, and more
Indiana’s rural communities are in large part built on agriculture, farming, and natural resource industries. There are many risks associated with these industries, such as weather, farm safety, economic fluctuations, and regulatory burdens that can lead to mental health stressors and crises. The impact often further affects the communities where farming and agricultural businesses operate.
This program is open to everyone, especially those with a focus on rural communities, community-based organizations, and agriculture. The workshop is available at a cost to your organization. Must have a minimum of 10 and max of 30 participants to schedule.
