Chief Operations Officer

Laura Carlson, MBA, has been a dedicated member of the Indiana Rural Health Association since 2006, currently holding the position of Chief Operations Officer. In her role as Chief Operations Officer, Mrs. Carlson is responsible for overseeing the association's human resources and financial functions, managing day-to-day operations, handling financial matters, and ensuring accurate documentation of program activities and personnel administration. She works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, providing the executive team with the guidance and resources necessary to successfully execute the association's initiatives. Additionally, she is responsible for managing the funding and distribution of student scholarships for the IRHA annual conference.

Mrs. Carlson earned her Bachelor's degree from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa, and she holds a Master of Business Administration from Western Governors University.
