Ann McCafferty, a lifetime Hoosier, has worked in healthcare for over twenty years in both the private and public healthcare sectors. Believing in equal access to healthcare, Ann is a passionate advocate for eliminating disparities that exist for various socioeconomic, ethnic, and racial groups.  Ann serves as the director of the Indiana Rural Health Association’s Connecting Kids to Coverage-Indiana (CKC-IN) program. The CKC-IN program, along with statewide partners, provides health coverage assistance to Indiana residents and families to apply, enroll, and renew eligible children, parents, and pregnant individuals in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).n Ann is an Indiana Department of Insurance (IDOI) licensed health coverage navigator; a Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services Certified Affordable Care Act Exchange Application Counselor and an IDOI State Health Insurance Program Eligibility Specialist. Ann is also certified as a community health worker.
