April Cash, CCHW, CMS-CAC

April Cash, CCHW, CMS-CAC, is a program coordinator for the Indiana Rural Health Association's Connecting Kids to Coverage-Indiana program.
April has a background in medical billing and previously worked at a federally qualified health center, overseeing Outreach and Enrollment services before joining IRHA in 2022. April earned her Associate of Applied Science in Human Resources in 2015. In 2016 she obtained her license as an Indiana Navigator from Indiana Department of Insurance and completed the Certified Application Counselor Certification from Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services. In 2023 she completed her Community Health Worker Certification and joined Indiana Community Health Workers Association's first Advisory Committee. She is passionate about improving the health and quality of life for Hoosiers through advocacy, education, and enrollment services.
April participates in various community outreach groups including Wabash Valley Community Resource Alliance, Wabash Valley Recovery Alliance, local System of Care groups, and is also an active member on the United Way of the Wabash Valley Community Health Impact Council. April is a 2019 Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce and Tribune-Star 12 Under 40 Honoree.
