Kasia Hamann, MPH

Kasia Hamann, MPH, is the Lead Data Coordinator assisting with the Healthy Start Communities that C.A.R.E. (HSCC) and Care Coordination programs. In this role, she manages the databases, conducts data analysis, monitors services and activities provided to participants, and identifies opportunities to improve reporting and effectiveness. IRHA’s Maternal and Infant Health programs provide case management services, referrals, and educational resources to improve maternal and infant health outcomes throughout participating rural populations throughout Central Southwest Indiana.
In addition, Kasia is the Security Officer as part of IRHA’s Compliance Team. In this role, she ensures adequate data security measures through staff security training, evaluation of security practices, and assists with the implementation of internal policies.
Kasia is currently a mentor for the IRHA Fellowship program. Through this program, Kasia provides support and advises IRHA Fellows through the development and completion of a rural health policy project.
Prior to IRHA, Kasia spent three years working as an early childhood and adolescent mental health case worker. Through this position, Kasia addressed Social Determinants of Health and provided supportive services to children and their families to ensure equity of educational and social opportunities; as well as improve mental health conditions through coaching children on appropriate coping mechanisms.
Kasia earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies and Organizational Service in 2014 and her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Statistics in 2019 from Purdue University - West Lafayette.
