Kathy Walker

Kathy's past work experience has been in tobacco control primarily as a Program Coordinator through Indiana State Department of Health/Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission. She has directed a school-based youth leadership/mentoring program, and served as the Communications Director for a Community Action Agency. Kathy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Purdue University in Health Promotion. She is a member of the West Central Indiana – Area Health Education Center advisory board. Kathy is a certified facilitator in Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR), certified in AgriSafe Farm Response, and is a certified Tobacco Treatment Specialists. She enjoys the outdoors, photography, travel, cooking, and pottery. She has two grown children and resides in Montgomery County.
Kathy is currently a Program Director for the Tobacco Cessation program at Indiana Rural Health Association (IRHA). She also works with MommyWise, and Indiana Health Families Alliance programs at IRHA and serves on several committees within IRHA.
